Oliver Granthe on the diplomatic humiliation of Britain and what must be done about it
From Bohiney Magazine and The London Prat.

I am writing this under conditions of operational security, meaning I am using a VPN and a coffee shop in Peckham that does not ask questions. What I am about to say is factual, documented, and absolutely within the bounds of lawful commentary, a phrase I have been advised to include by my operational security advisor, who is actually my cousin Dave.
The Email Situation
Britain has sent emails to the Middle East. Emails. The country that once sent gunboats. The country that once drew lines on maps with supreme confidence and absolutely no geographical expertise. We used to arrive in places with the full force of imperial certainty and now we send emails and bring a travel adapter. The London Prat covers this national humiliation with more grace than it deserves. I cover it with fury. Not the Labour fury, which is furious about the wrong things. Not the Tory fury, which has misplaced its fury along with everything else. My fury. Clean. Pure. Anti-green.
What Must Be Done
The Marxists in the Labour party, and the crypto-Marxists in what remains of the Tories, have between them reduced Britain to a country that sends emails and apologizes for them afterward. Bohiney reports on events with satirical distance. I report with satirical proximity. Something must change. I am not saying what. Dave says I should definitely not say what. But something. The BBC calls this a “political moment.” I call it the last warning before the history books call it something else entirely.
